Each branch of the Jacksonville Public Library provides invaluable services and programs to the communities they serve–and to our city as a whole. Our branches are as unique as our city, and each offers an array of community-centered resources that simply can’t be found elsewhere. On January 25 of this year, the Jacksonville Public Library participated in Florida Library Snapshot Day, capturing one day in the life of each library. We recorded statistics on gate count, reference services, computer use, and more. Below, you’ll find our Branch Spotlights, highlighting the numbers of customers we served and reference questions we answered on just one day in 2011.
